Editorial policy and corrections
Planning around a wrong deadline, or issuing an invoice outside KSeF once that is no longer allowed, costs time, and from 2027 it can cost a penalty. This page says where everything comes from and what happens when something is wrong.

Ranking of sources
- Statutes and regulations as published in the Journal of Laws (Dziennik Ustaw): the VAT Act (consolidated text and amending acts), the Finance Minister’s regulations on KSeF;
- Administrative guidance: ksef.podatki.gov.pl, Finance Ministry notices, tax explanations and published answers;
- Technical specifications: the FA(3) logical structure and the KSeF 2.0 API documentation published by the Ministry of Finance.
Trade articles, forums and software vendors’ offers are not a source for a rule. If two sources conflict, the higher one prevails, and we say so.
Every figure dated
Every deadline, threshold and percentage is stored with its source and reading date in one parameter file. The pages read their figures from that file, never from the text. A bill is labelled as a bill and shown next to the law in force until it is passed and published.
Testing the tools
The reader is tested on the sample FA(3) invoice the Ministry of Finance publishes under the MIT licence, the working-day calculator on the statutory holiday calendar, and the KSeF number checksum on the example in the API documentation. Automated tests run on every change.
Schedule
The sources are reread regularly: a full review at least every 12 months and after any change to the VAT Act, the KSeF regulations or a new version of the FA structure.
Corrections
- Check against the source.
- Fix in the parameter file or rules and add a test.
- New date on every page.
